November feels like it happened a lifetime ago. But still, photos got taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We kept playing Pokemon Go to remember to get out of the house, we both had and met friends for dinner (BBQ drama!), grandparents were visited, the first real snow fell from the sky, gymnastics got practiced, and at least one cafe got visted. (35-ish photos total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 04 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Emma coloring flowers at her grandparents’ place. Everything this winter has been rainbow colored. We think alike!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Watching her clamber over the big rocks is never a calming experience.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That evening we had visitors for dinner.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, the gas regulator wasn’t working well in the frost, and there was so much fire the oil in the bottom caught fire! Oooops!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Luckily, the meat was sitting on a pan, which Finnur managed to remove from the fire. It burned itself out quickly.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Monday 05 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We woke up to lots of white stuff on the ground and in the air.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When I came to pick Emma up from daycare, yet another questionnaire was on the wall. This time it was about grandparents. They make pancakes together, and they let her use the tablet sometimes, grandmothers have glasses and grandfathers have white hair. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
It didn’t take much work to convince the kids to go outside for a bit.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bjarki attended a birthday party in his class, which was at an arcade. Fun times!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When your brain is not really working, and a coworker brings in chocolate to the office post traveling.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Friday 09 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Emma’s friend insisted on giving her this Elsa-inspired fake braid, and she insisted on wearing it to daycare. We obliged.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Excited!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
That evening I found myself downtown to meet fellow Electrical Engineers.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We met in a new place downtown, and it was pretty cool.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The best part was that I decided to take the bus home, and happened to ride one of the new electric buses for the first time. Highly recommend it, a much smoother and more powerful ride than the old ICE buses.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Almost submitted this sign as a pokestop, but ran into technical troubles. Next time!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tried out a new charging station, and ate lunch at the gas stop next to it.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
