We mostly took it easy as October got off the ground, but did manage to go out to dinner with friends (using almost expired gift-cards!), to visit house #2, keep the kids alive and mostly happy, and go to the gym a bit. (40-ish images)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poor Anna spent the winter having ear-issues. Here a specialist is checking out her ears, and the verdict was that most likely the braces were putting strain on the muscles in the ear area, causing all sorts of unhappy feelings. Poor thing!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emma got lucky and found a friend to play with after daycare closed. They decided they wanted to visit the big-kids’ school.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Not quite big enough for these things. The shadows were getting super loooong.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The swings were a hit.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That evening we finally cashed in the mutual gift cards our friends and ourselves had exchanged when we turned forty way back when!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 06 October 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The day began by a visit to a bakery to acquire good bread.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Shortly thereafter we made our way to house #2 with my mom and oldest brother and his kiddos. His wife was off on a choir trip!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The hot tub turned out to be too hot to really use, so the kids circled it for a bit. We ended up putting cold water in via hose.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We made it home in one piece and asked the others if they’d also made it. Apparently they did!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

All the kids appeared at the same time in front of the house, even Bjarki who’d just returned from gymnastics practice!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
