We went to house #2 with friends, while the autumn colors were in full force. Back in the city, autumn weather said did its best to get rid of autumn colors, and we got a new piano!!! (50-ish images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took the kids to the swimming pool in Borgarnes while Finnur worked on a few things. Afterwards we went to our favorite local cafe.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We bumped into a friend at the cafe, who lives in town. Here she is having a conversation with her husband who was about to fly back to Iceland.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As it was all of a sudden really late (that’s a super cosy cafe!) our friend invited the kids to hang out at her place while I drove to fetch Finnur. Here’s a cat walking by close to her house.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It was almost 8 pm before we were on our merry way. I was very surprised by how clever this snapchat filter was!!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s also an electric piano (!!!), with a “silent mode” where the soundboard is mechanically disengaged.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Just for future reference, these are the headphones that came with the piano. They are “anti-noise cancelling”, as in, you can hear everything that is going on around you with them.
