Somehow, my uncle Arnar (who is only a hop and a skip older than I am) is now 50 years old!\u00a0 To celebrate, he hosted a small get-together with the closest family members and some friends. (24-ish images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna even played a song or two. This was the spring she started asking (very politely) for a “real” piano…<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

… but that wasn’t all that happened that day!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

That morning, Finnur and I had gone out on a pokemon event run. Poor Finnur had twisted his ankle very badly playing football, so he had to use a crutch. Thankfully his ankle got better quickly.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Busy building times downtown.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Post-event lunch at the newly opened food-hall at Hlemmur. Good stuff!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That afternoon, the girls and I swapped the winter bike tires out for the summer ones. Yay for spring!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The day ended with some girlfriends downtown, attending a party-bingo!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"

It was a weird night, very loud, very raucous, but also full of laughter and fun!\u00a0 I ended up winning two free cocktails at a restaurant nearby, so that was extra fun!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
