Easter 2018 happened to land on April’s Fool’s Day.\u00a0 [Insert inappropriate joke here].\u00a0 It was an Easter Day “by the book”, as I discovered last year, see HERE<\/a>, when I cataloged the last 15 years of Easter Day! (61 images total!)<\/p>\n

Sunday 01 April 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual attempt at a sibling photo with chocolate eggs. The younger ones did NOT feel like cooperating!<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Going back to the start of the day, here is an Easter decoration courtesy of Emma (and her daycare teachers).<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

It is now customary to hide the eggs. Can you spot an egg?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

The egg hunt about to begin. The eggs are labeled since some are easier to find than others.<\/p><\/div>\n

Emma found the parental eggs. Keep looking young one!<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur is eeeevil! Bjarki finally found his egg on the top of the cupboards, inside a large jug!<\/p><\/div>\n

Next up, the sayings!\u00a0 Emma got: What doesn’t enter an eye doesn’t hurt it.<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur got: Each thinks their bird is beautiful.<\/p><\/div>\n

Anna got:\u00a0 No chain is stronger than its weakest link.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bjarki got: Go dance, but watch where you put your foot down.<\/p><\/div>\n

I got:\u00a0 First makings last long.<\/p><\/div>\n

After stuffing our faces with chocolate, we made our way to Finnur’s parents’ place, where we ate festive food with the rest of his family.<\/p><\/div>\n

Waiting patiently for the Easter feast to begin.<\/p><\/div>\n
