[Photos taken on 15-17\u00a0 February\u00a02018, posted on 16 September 2018.\u00a0 Lovely weather so far all September.\u00a0 Finnur’s up north with buddies, I’ve been renovating the off-foyer-room.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

I think this was the first winter where we went to the UK for both winter breaks (2 days off, adjacent to a weekend).\u00a0 It so happens that Finnur’s working closely with people in London these days, so it made sense for him to spend a week working there, and why not get a change of scenery for the rest of us along the way?\u00a0 So to the UK we went!\u00a0 Again! At the airport, as I walk back from the long-term parking lot to the terminal building.<\/p><\/div>\n

The airport company charges an arm and a leg for these parking spots. I can’t understand why they don’t save the annual scrape-snow budget and build a roof over the cars. It would make me feel better about paying so much…<\/p><\/div>\n

Poor Emma is the only one to not have a dedicated gadget.<\/p><\/div>\n

Friday 16 February 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bjarki being chased by Anna after doing something she was unhappy about. Oh, siblings!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

We wanted to visit the toboggan run, and made it out of the door at 11 am.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Sadly, we weren’t early enough. The schools in the area were also on break, so the toboggan run was packed. We decided to try again at a later date!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Granddad Gunnar decided to soften the no-toboggan blow by taking us to a nearby shopping mall for ice cream. On the way there we passed people on horses on the road. Eeek!<\/p><\/div>\n

As it was only three days since Emma’s birthday, she got a cake!<\/p><\/div>\n

Anna and I went shopping that afternoon, and came back with a sweater for Anna which perfectly matched the room she was sleeping in!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 17 February 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

The weather was nice, so Bjarki hung out in the garden swing for a while.<\/p><\/div>\n

Emma joined him for a bit.<\/p><\/div>\n

The view out of the car window. I can’t remember why we were on the move though…<\/p><\/div>\n
