My flight home to Iceland didn’t leave until around dinner time, so I spent the day walking around Toronto, visiting Ingress stops to try and get a medal in the game that I needed. (26 images total)<\/p>\n

(Now, yes, in case my friends who live in Toronto see that I came by without saying hi, I apologize, but I was so tired after the long work-trip, that human interactions were beyond my capabilities at the time.\u00a0 I’ll be sure to say hi next time!)<\/p>\n

It was a nice cool day.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

The fun thing about hunting down Ingress GPS stops is noticing all the various artworks hidden in plain sight.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

More random art. This was hard to photograph though due to the harsh sun and deep shadows.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Crazy large ads.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Downtown has a lot of skyscrapers.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

One of these is different from the others.<\/p><\/div>\n

Something to keep in mind, but hard to do much about!<\/p><\/div>\n

Impressive house!\u00a0 It’s almost certainly featured in some tv show or movie!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Santa Claus Parade?!?!<\/p><\/div>\n

Found an ice skating rink! The curved buildings behind me, aka City Hall, apparently featured in an old Star Trek episode<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n

Very Canadian!<\/p><\/div>\n

Looking back towards the rink. That’s pretty brutalist architecture, no?<\/p><\/div>\n

That was as far as I went away from the hotel.\u00a0 After this I walked back, and got abite to eat before heading to the airport.<\/p><\/div>\n

I went to the same food market by the hotel where I’d had dinner, and drooled over the selection.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

I had a long trip ahead of me!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Meanwhile, in Iceland, Emma was being adorable.<\/p><\/div>\n

I collected my luggage from the hotel, and then walked to the train station (straight ahead). The sunset made the clouds pretty.<\/p><\/div>\n

I was very happy to have a window seat.<\/p><\/div>\n

Back on Icelandic ground, wet and windy as usual.<\/p><\/div>\n

As this was a worktrip, I was picked up from the airport by a taxi, and driven home. That is a huge luxury!<\/p><\/div>\n

Feeling mostly human after a 8am to 1 pm nap, and looking for Anna via snapchat.<\/p><\/div>\n
