The whole family was on holiday between Yule and New Year’s Eve.\u00a0 We hung out with family and friends, went to the movies, to a show, and tried to generally relax a bit. (12 images total)<\/p>\n

Wednesday 27 December 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among relaxing activities (for me) was hanging out at the Nor\u00f0urbakkinn cafe.\u00a0 It’s weirdly difficult to get a symmetric photo of those buildings!<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Festive! Even at 4:40 pm.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Earlier that day Bjarki somehow agreed to go to gymnastics practice.<\/p><\/div>\n

We also took the big kids to see the Star Wars movie that had just come out, and sat through the credits to find Sign\u00fd’s name! P\u00e9tur also worked on that movie, but at a contracting company so he didn’t get direct credit.<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur and I ended the day by going to Ari Eldj\u00e1rn<\/a>‘s comedy stand-up show, and he did a very good job, as is his habit.<\/p><\/div>\n

Thursday 28 December 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

I took the kids swimming, apparently.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Our ex-Californinan, currently Toronto-dwelling, friends stopped by for dinner, which was a lot of fun!<\/p><\/div>\n

Friday 29 December 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

We finally made it to visit grandma Hrefna!<\/p><\/div>\n

An attempt at a couch photo!<\/p><\/div>\n

On the way back home we made a quick pit stop at a shop where I tried on a winter coat. This one had a lot going for it, but also a few things that bugged me so… no.<\/p><\/div>\n
