[Photos taken on Saturday 15 July 2017, posted online on 24 November<\/del>\u00a028 December 2017. We\u2019ve had snow on the ground for two weeks straight!<\/del>\u00a0It’s been frozen, but very little snow for the past month.\u00a0 Also, Christmas ate my brain.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

The weather forecast was super nice, so we decided to head to a beach that day.\u00a0 Somebody found a recommendation for the Rosaires beach in Plerin<\/a>, so off we went! (22 images total)<\/p>\n

Hey look, it’s us on a beach!<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Backing up a bit, this is us walking to the beach a bit earlier. It’s basically a small town by a huge beach, and as the day went on, more and more people\/cars showed up.<\/p><\/div>\n

The houses there were of varying sizes.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

A rather grand one.<\/p><\/div>\n

A mostly hidden one.<\/p><\/div>\n

Looking up the hill. The town just … ends!<\/p><\/div>\n

Now, that’s a beach!<\/p><\/div>\n

Beach forbidden for… radios?<\/p><\/div>\n

The kids started to dig a big hole!<\/p><\/div>\n

They were super excited when they found water in the ground!<\/p><\/div>\n

The beach never got crowded, but there was a fair number of people there.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Serious digging still going on!<\/p><\/div>\n

The hole slowly morphed into a pit!<\/p><\/div>\n

Bjarki checking out the pit. Before we left, we filled it with sand, but that didn’t prevent Anna from sinking into as she accidentally walked over\/into it, causing her to faceplant spectacularly on the beach!<\/p><\/div>\n

We ended up in “our” house, and ate dinner together.<\/p><\/div>\n

Trampolines are awesome!<\/p><\/div>\n
