This wednesday the weather forecast for St. Brieuc called for thunder and massive rain.\u00a0 We therefore decided to drive inland to the city of Rennes<\/a>, to shop for clothes, and visit a kid’s science museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sadly, we misunderstood the directions on the website, and instead of getting to enjoy the funnest part of the science museum, the group got stuck watching a film about stars in the planetarium because the science museum (“Merlin’s laboratory”) was sold out that day.\u00a0 (Anna and I missed the whole kerfuffle, as we were shopping.)<\/p>\n

Afterwards we tried to find a place that was open for dinner at 6 pm.\u00a0 Thankfully, \u00d3li found a pizza place that was open, and it had great pizzas! (9 images total)<\/p>\n

At the entrance to the science museum. It took a long while to figure anything out, in the end tickets to the planetarium were bought.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

That show wouldn’t begin for a while though so the group hung out in the building to pass the time, somehow. I wasn’t there, I fled with Anna to go shopping.<\/p><\/div>\n

The group reunited again, and hour and a half later.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

It took almost an hour of wandering about until we had pizza on the table in front of us. It was good though!<\/p><\/div>\n

The pizza place was very short on seats!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Walking back to the parking garage.<\/p><\/div>\n

More walking. We weren’t very impressed with the town, although the squarely cut trees were interesting.<\/p><\/div>\n
