For our summer vacation, we decided to follow some friends of ours to St. Brieuc <\/a>in France.\u00a0 They were doing a home swap, but we opted to rent a home via airbnb.<\/p>\n

We ended up flying to Rennes airport via Amsterdam, and all in all the trip went fine.<\/p>\n

The biggest stress was when our friends (who’d already arrived in the area) notified us that all the grocery stores would be closed the following day, so we had to make an emergency stop at the supermarket, which delayed our arrival to the house.\u00a0 Our host graciously waited for us, so it all worked out in the end. Our layover was just over three hours, so we had plenty of time to eat and … uh, be bored.<\/p><\/div>\n

The dining area at the Amsterdam airport was absolutely crammed with people, but managed to buy some sushi, and squeeze in by the kiddy corner. Thank goodness for the kiddie corner!<\/p><\/div>\n
