I asked Anna to send me snaps of her last day at horse camp, and she sent me a whole photo-essay!<\/p>\n

This was also the day that Emma’s daycare closed down at 1 pm for a four (4!!) week long summer holiday.\u00a0 Not having much to do, we decided to go visit Finnur\/daddy at his office, and hang out at the beach by his workplace before fetching the big kids from camp.<\/p>\n

The day ended with Bjarki getting a haircut, and us packing for our trip to France the morning after. (40 images total)<\/p>\n

Anna snapchatted her day to me. It began with “This is what I’ve been doing for the past four weeks.”<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

“Arrive at 9.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Fetch the horses.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Comb Svali.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Eld\u00f3r with a cool hairdo.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Fetch a saddle from the pile.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Moved my saddle to the side.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Put the saddle on and tighten.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Tightened.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Put my helmet on.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Fetch a whisk.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Fastened the ….”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Helping.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Going out on a ride.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“Eat lunch with the kids and watch a movie.”<\/p><\/div>\n

“The horses go eat lunch, and fetched again at 1. Repeat combing, saddling, etc and go out on a ride, or go play games, ride bareback, or watch a movie.”<\/p><\/div>\n

Meanwhile, in my world, Emma’s daycare shut down at 1 pm, for summer vacation was upon us!<\/p><\/div>\n

Giving a teacher a goodbye hug.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Not having much to do, we went to visit daddy at his office.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Daddy was too busy with his last day of work to join us at Nauth\u00f3ll<\/a>, the restaurant by his office.<\/p><\/div>\n

After eating our fill, we walked down to the artificial beach, where we hung out for a bit.<\/p><\/div>\n

It was a nice day!<\/p><\/div>\n

When we arrived, it looked like all of the horses had already been taken to their pasture.<\/p><\/div>\n

As luck would have it, there happened to still be a few horses by the house when we arrived there.<\/p><\/div>\n
