Emma’s daycare had a mom-morning, my dad and company came for dinner, we celebrated my nephew’s second birthday, and I went for a late evening walk. (13 images total)<\/p>\n

Daycare likes to ask the kids questions in preparation for certain days, like when moms or dads stay with them for an hour in the morning to socialize and look around. Here are questions regarding “mom”.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Q: How old is your mom? A: 40 years old, that’s kind of a lot. Q: What does mom do best? A: In the train, and coloring. Q: What do you and mom do together? A: Paint, and color dragons. Q: Where does mom work? A: In the City in K\u00f3pavogur. Q: What makes mom happy? A: If I color something nice. Q: What makes mom sad? A: If I color a mess.<\/p><\/div>\n

I spent an hour with Emma at her daycare that morning like the other moms. She showed me a few things she likes to do. This simple game practices counting and colors.<\/p><\/div>\n

That evening, Dad, Anthony, and Shirley stopped by for dinner on their last day in Iceland for now.<\/p><\/div>\n
