When we’d arrived home after the confirmation party, downstairs was in such a disarray (after the photo-shoot<\/a> etc!) that I just had to tidy up before presents could be opened. \u00a0That wasn’t done until 11 pm, by which time Anna was pale with exhaustion, so present-opening got postponed for a day.<\/p>\n

She ended up getting lots of wonderful gifts, and a good chunk of money, as is customary. \u00a0We thank everybody for their generosity!!<\/p>\n

Anna had been too exhausted to open her presents the night before, so the bonanza got opened the day after.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

We gave her a long-weekend trip to Paris with her dad, departing that Friday, along with a new phone, and headphones. I should mention that Bjarki is already planning what he’s spending his confirmation money on. Only four more years!<\/p><\/div>\n

Next, Anna opened the good advice cards she’d gotten. \u00a0They were a lot of fun!
