We continue muddling through life. \u00a0There were parenting lessons, kiddy sports-school, winter break at the summer house at Laugarvatn, and then at little bit of snow finally showed up. (20 images total)<\/p>\n

Attending a lecture on parenting in general, and in particular dealing with the iPad our town helpfully supplies all kids in 5th grade and up to have with them at all times<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

We’ve yet to actually implement this, but this is a formal contract regarding computer use. This one is for the kids.<\/p><\/div>\n

Daycare had all the kids write numbers on a piece of paper, and then glued the numbers on the floor leading from the entrance of the main hallway to the entrance of the classroom. Emma’s number was 10, and every time she walks to her class, she stops and marvels at it, as she should. \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 18 February 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

We finally got our Saturday morning act together this January, and started taking Emma to the “athletics school”. It’s just an hour every Saturday morning, but she seems to like it.<\/p><\/div>\n

Oh, we parents are just terrible with our phones out all the time. Let me take a photo of that!<\/p><\/div>\n

Sunday 19 February 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

The schools were closed for winter break that Monday and Tuesday, so we decided to take advantage of it being “our week” at the summer house at Laugarvatn. (Every fifth week is “our week”.) \u00d3li tagged along with two of his girls, as his other two girls were on the other side of the country.<\/p><\/div>\n

The weather was unseasonably warm and borderline foggy.<\/p><\/div>\n

SNOW! FINALLY! February had been so warm that trees were starting to bud, and there were reports of birds preparing nests. Thankfully, winter finally came through and dumped a bit of snow down.<\/p><\/div>\n
