Who owns this blue-and-white woolen jumper? Somebody left it our place years ago, and we’ve never figured out who the owner is\/was… It came in handy though on a day where Emma was supposed to wear something woolen to daycare.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Friday 20 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anna awaiting her fate in the orthodontist’s chair.<\/p><\/div>\n

Braces installed on her upper teeth. She did quite well in the next few day, although her mouth felt quite sore.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sunday 22 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finnur’s mom invited the family over to celebrate her 73rd birthday!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Grandma getting flowers.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Food, food, glorious food!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

The attack of the hungry people. Finnur’s siblings also showed up, but I was in a food coma and didn’t take any more photos!<\/p><\/div>\n

Monday 23 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

We left Anna in charge of her sleeping siblings, and went out to play a little Ingress<\/a>. I’ve never been so close to this small, but very aesthetically pleasing bridge before! \u00a0There is an identical one close by, but we’ve yet to visit it.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

The last stop of our evening tour was a lighthouse (Gr\u00f3tta<\/a>) that sits out at the edge of town, and you can only walk out there on a low tide. I’d never actually gone there but happily trudged to it\u00a0in the pitch darkness with only the cellphone led-light to prevent tripping over things. Good times! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 28 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Anna went ice-skating with some friends, and I ended up taking Emma to the farm animal park next door. We happened to catch a pigeon show there! Emma was not happy about it though.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Lots of birds with little to do.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

One of the pigeon owners packing up. He had a special pigeon carry-case!<\/p><\/div>\n

Trying to explain to Emma that the horses were not accepting riders that day. She was disappointed.<\/p><\/div>\n

Next up: watching a cow get milked.<\/p><\/div>\n

A couple of calves getting the milk that was pumped.<\/p><\/div>\n

We picked up Anna, and then dropped her friends off at their home, where we may or may not have scored waffles!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Meanwhile, the boys hit the bakery.<\/p><\/div>\n

That evening Finnur and I went out on another fun excursion! This is \u00c1smundasafn<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sunday 29 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bjarki was off playing with a friend, but due to poplar demand, I took these three kids to the archery range.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

I thought Katniss had brown hair?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

The balloon that just barely got away.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Ready, steady, …<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Not terrible.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Finally, a smile!<\/p><\/div>\n

That afternoon we attended Bragi’s 6th birthday party!<\/p><\/div>\n

Back home, Emma at the dinner table.<\/p><\/div>\n
