This year was a bad one for employees, as most of the public holidays associated with Christmas fell on a weekend. \u00a0The only public holiday of the entire season was Monday the 26th! \u00a0(The unions need to start fixing this!!)<\/p>\n

I did get an extra day off (Tue), and I took a sick day off (Wed), but ended up at work for two days (Thu & Fri), which was a bit weird. \u00a0Here are a few snapshots from that week (9 images total)<\/p>\n

We took the kids skating, even Emma! If you know where to look, you can see Finnur guiding Emma’s slide-rail.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Finnur with Emma just before she had to quit because of a blister on her foot.<\/p><\/div>\n

I stayed for a little longer, and then I left because I wasn’t feeling well. Finnur went on to take the kids to dinner with more friends, while I slept at home.<\/p><\/div>\n

I left work early, at two thirty in the afternoon, and liked the light so much I had to take a couple of photos.<\/p><\/div>\n
