On our last whole day, we opted to visit something called the Tom Tits Experiment<\/a>. \u00a0It’s essentially a science museum, and unfortunately shared a lot of things with the other science museum we’d just visited a few days before<\/a>, so it felt less special than it could have. \u00a0But there were also neat new things to see, and do, so it wasn’t a total loss. \"When<\/a>

When we arrived, there was a show going on. As we sat down (see Finnur and the kids in the middle), he was just finishing juggling regular stuff, and then went on to swinging around things on fire. Like this huge ball!<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Pretty darn cool, and the end to his show.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"(Previously<\/a>

(Previously he’d been doing more regular stuff, like standing one-footed on a ladder and juggling sticks with fire on their ends.)<\/p><\/div>\n

\"After<\/a>

After the show, we headed inside to take a look. There was water to be played with.<\/p><\/div>\n

There was less to do for Emma on the top floor, so I heeded loud calls for ice-cream and we went back outside. There, the show-guy was about to do some more tricks.<\/p><\/div>\n

The guy asked a girl to help him by handing him his juggling cones, but she was hard to work with, so her little brother finished the job.<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur and Bjarki lining up for the industrial robot ride.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"It<\/a>

It is quite literally an industrial robot, that swings people around, turning them every which way, for a few minutes.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Since<\/a>

Since Bjarki hadn’t reached 140 cm yet, the ride they got was pretty tame.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Going<\/a>

Going all over the place. I did watch one dude go solo, and ask for the harshest most crazy program, which involved a lot of being upside down, and swinging about. None of that for these guys!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Mindball.<\/a>

Mindball. I was a little disappointed when I discovered that if you left the headsets on the table, one headset would beat the other. But Finnur still crushed us all. Behind the Mindball table was a mirror-maze-house, which Bjarki was enthralled by.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Comfy<\/a>

Comfy chairs, with warning tape?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"That's<\/a>

That’s why! But they were in fact quite comfy.<\/p><\/div>\n

The view from outside. I was a bit low on energy after being trailed by the squabbling younger ones for a little too long, and needed a time out.<\/p><\/div>\n

In a fire-engine cockpit shortly before we left.<\/p><\/div>\n

Oh no! The bridge we had just built had collapsed while we visited the cockpit up the stairs!<\/p><\/div>\n
