After so many days of ‘doing stuff’, we tried to take it easy for one day. \u00a0Since it was a weekend, I in particular feared crowds in Stockholm proper, so we just hung around the house for the most part.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the day, me and Anna took off to check out the Mall of Scandinavia<\/a>, which was a 20 minute drive away from us.<\/p>\n

How’s that for luxury? Getting your cup filled with water from a water-gun?<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

There were some pretty flowers in the garden.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bjarki moping over having nothing to do. He was not a fan of our off-days.<\/p><\/div>\n

Hugging time!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"It<\/a>

It is our duty as Icelanders, stuck on an island with little selection and high prices, to go shopping when abroad!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Refueling<\/a>

Refueling stop number 1.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"I<\/a>

I was surprised by the number and quality level of the restaurants there. The sushi was good!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"At<\/a>

At home base, the little kids were playing ‘shop’.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"More<\/a>

Also playing ‘shop’! Happily, we found what we were looking for, and shockingly, we discovered that brand-name jeans cost the same in Sweden as in Iceland!!!<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
