Thursday was a busy day. I left work early to take Emma to see the doctor (see below), drove Bjarki to gym practice, nursed Emma’s broken spirit after the doctor accidentally drew blood, picked Bjarki up, took both kids downtown to say hi to Lotta<\/a> who was opening a new photography show of hers<\/a>, spent some time fruitlessly looking for a certain book in the library, second hot chocolate run next door, and then finally home! \"Emma's<\/a>

Emma’s hand sprouted a wart around the time she had chicken pox (the two may be related?) which refused to go away by itself. I’ve been taking her to see a doctor weekly, and that afternoon the doctor accidentally drew blood while clearing away dead skin. This left Emma in such a state that I ended up giving her the Professor Lupin treatment, i.e. copious amounts of chocolate. It worked for the most part.<\/p><\/div>\n

That Thursday, our local mall had a one-day sale on pretty much everything, so the place was packed. \u00a0I asked Anna if she wanted a new pair of pants, but got no reply. \u00a0Ergo, no new pants.<\/p><\/div>\n

After Bjarki’s last (ever probably) gymnastics practice, we headed downtown to see Lotta open her show.<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s a time-series from their time this past winter of living in Iceland.<\/p><\/div>\n

Emma was not a happy camper in this space, she wanted to go downstairs to the liiiibraaary.<\/p><\/div>\n

My only decent shot of Lotta, I failed to do a selfie with her!<\/p><\/div>\n

Going down four floors to the library.<\/p><\/div>\n

The evening was perfect for gardening, and I managed to do a bit of weeding. This is taken at 11 pm.<\/p><\/div>\n

I’m still waiting for the summer flowers to go on sale… Until then, the flower pots are a mess still!<\/p><\/div>\n
