A charging post was installed at my workplace, and I decided to finally test it out. It seems about as efficient as the one we’ve got in the garage at home.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>

The town agreed to fix up the yard at Emma’s daycare earlier this year. Over the summer, half the yard was under construction, and it now sports these cool wood-formations. Of course, they’re the first thing you see when exiting\u00a0the daycare builing, so actually getting Emma to exit the yard became difficult!<\/p><\/div>\n

Slightly raised walkways are so great!<\/p><\/div>\n

Friday 23 October 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Product<\/a>

Product placement!! I bought this hairbrush at the airport, and it has the magical ability of not pulling wet hair when used.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"It's<\/a>

It’s the only brush we can use on Emma’s hair\u00a0with no\u00a0screaming.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sunday 25 October 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"We<\/a>

We got a nice dusting of snow, so the kids ended up outside in the backyard for a bit.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Bjarki<\/a>

Bjarki had a friend over, and they all ended up having\u00a0toasts with peanut-butter and jam outside, along with a glass of milk. \u00a0Eating outside is much easier than dragging them inside, undressing, eating, and then re-dressing.<\/p><\/div>\n

This Monday was Day One out of Two of the school’s autumn break. A friend of Bjarki’s came over to play.<\/p><\/div>\n

On Day Two out of Two of the autumn break, we took Bjarki to the barber.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"I<\/a>

I attended a symposium of the Professional Women’s Associations<\/a>\u00a0with an impressive number of impressive women.\u00a0 The first speaker was Vigd\u00eds Finnbogad\u00f3ttir<\/a>, the first woman to be nationally elected president. She is one cool cat! \u00a0(I also ran into an ex-student of mine, with was a treat!)<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 31 October 2015, aka Halloween<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Anna<\/a>

Anna and I made a library run, which included N\u00f6kkvi’s library. Young Breki Jarl was in a fine mood.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Later<\/a>

Later in the day, I took Bjarki and Emma to Bjarki’s old daycare to play, while Anna was at a Halloween party.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Emma<\/a>

Nobody was there but us.<\/p><\/div>\n

Later that evening, Anna returned from her Halloween party. She made her costume entirely by herself!<\/p><\/div>\n
