Easter is the only holiday to come with a guaranteed five-day-long continuous holiday. \u00a0I wish Christmas-time came wrapped in a similar package.<\/p>\n

Since I was still on crutches, we didn’t do much of anything, but we did manage to meet up with some friends, use our\u00a0hot tub for the first time this year, and then scratch our heads as winter suddenly appeared again as we headed back to work on Tuesday morning. (9 images total)<\/p>\n

The kids ate first, and then disappeared back into tv-land, so the adults got to eat in peace and quiet.<\/p><\/div>\n

We invited Holla and \u00d3li over for lunch, except they ended up bringing all the food, while we pretty much just provided the plates, glasses, and the utensils. It worked out nicely though!<\/p><\/div>\n

We managed to use the hot tub for the first time this year before March was over!<\/p><\/div>\n

With spring in the air, we were a little shocked to wake up the next morning to 5 cm (2 inches) of snow on the ground!<\/p><\/div>\n

After dropping Emma off at daycare, I went to the hospital for attempt #2 of getting the\u00a0movement-hindering-screw removed. \u00a0After a short wait I was called up and told there’d been a scheduling mistake. \u00a0Apparently somebody had realized over the weekend that there would be no one to remove my screw this Tuesday morning, but forgot to call me to reschedule. \u00a0So back to work I went, with instructions to show up again two days later. \u00a0#gnashingofteeth<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
