We began the day by watching the trash collectors outside.<\/p><\/div>\n

Attending our cousin’s Dagur Ari’s 8 year old birthday. Yay!<\/p><\/div>\n

Monday 7 December 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Anna,<\/a>

Anna, the clumsy, managed to tumble down a stair or two as we were leaving the birthday party on Sunday. On Monday morning, I took her to the ER to have her foot checked.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Foot<\/a>

Foot x-ray. No obvious breakage, and even if the most suspicious spot was a fracture, there was nothing to do but wait for it to heal on its own.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We didn’t come home from the ER until almost 2 pm, so there was no use in going to work for me. Somehow I ended up playing Ticket to Ride with Bjarki (blue), and he did remarkably well. \u00a0I won though, because I’m evil like that.<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur’s parents helped me out with shuttling the kiddos to after-school activities, so we ended up at their place eating waffles in the late afternoon. \u00a0Yum!<\/p><\/div>\n

Thursday 10 December 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Me<\/a>

Me at work, soldering enough to make up for years of not soldering. This is taken during day two of “Innovation days”. There was a demo in the evening, which was great fun (although I’m still pissed at myself for not practicing), but I sure was tired afterwards.<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 12 December 2105<\/strong><\/p>\n

The kiddos, around lunchtime on Saturday. This was going to be a very busy\u00a0day.<\/p><\/div>\n

Emma likes crowns, and asks us to make them regularly.<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s a good thing Anna still remembers how to make these, because I sure don’t!<\/p><\/div>\n

Next up, a make-up guitar lesson, because the teacher had to cancel his lesson in the previous week.<\/p><\/div>\n

From there we went to the city library. They have a playroom. Yay!<\/p><\/div>\n

The playroom even has costumes!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Next<\/a>

Next up: The cafe diagonally across from the library. As usual!<\/p><\/div>\n

We discovered the cafe has a toy box, which Emma promptly commandeered. \u00a0We spent quite a bit of time in there.<\/p><\/div>\n

At home I went outside and grilled hamburgers for dinner at -7C\/19F. Brrrr…<\/p><\/div>\n

We called dad… \u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n

And, just to finish off the day, I went to a 40 year old birthday party! \u00a0The party was fun, but I had to leave fairly early. \u00a0Oh well.<\/p><\/div>\n
