Adda called during the holiday and asked if we were up for some ice skating. \u00a0I said yes, and we met up, and had a good time! (9 images total)<\/p>\n

\"Daycare

Daycare was open for three days between Christmas and New Year’s, and we took Emma there every day, because we’re lazy. That said, she generally arrived very late, around 11 am, after spending the morning frolicking in front of the computer, watching her favorite shows. This photo was taken at 11:11 as I was returning from dropping Emma off at daycare.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

\"Looking

Looking down our street. There was a fair amount of snow covering the thick but bumpy sheet of ice, which might stay until spring.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"At

At the ice rink while the Zamboni was re-icing. Adda is the queen of ice-rink refreshments, as she arrived stocked with hot chocolate, cookies, and energy bars! We did bring the glasses, but that was about it!<\/p><\/div>\n

Bjarki in the lower left corner, and the others around the Christmas Tree.<\/p><\/div>\n

Posers. Bjarki started sulking a bit as it was taking me a long time to get my ass on the rink, but I got there in the end.<\/p><\/div>\n

I like the decorating they do around the holidays!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"When

When we were leaving Bjarki wanted to help clear the\u00a0snow off the car.<\/p><\/div>\n

When I got home, I decided it was high time to make a trip to the recycling center, before somebody actually set fire to the stack of fifteen clementine boxes in the garage! My timing was a bit off, because we were invited to dinner that night, and uh, I made us late. \u00a0It all worked out though, since the other guests were pretty late too!<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
