[Photos from 06 August 2015, put online on 10 October 2015, or thereabouts! \u00a0This entry was started while sitting in the Saga Lounge at Keflavik airport, about to head to Canada for a week, and finished quite a few hours later in a hotel room in Spruce Grove, Canada.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

On our second and last day out by the coast, we decided to split up the gang. \u00a0Finnur and Elsa took all the kids to a water park (Jungle Jim’s<\/a>) while \u00der\u00e1inn and I hit the outlet malls right next to it (separately, our needs didn’t exactly line up). \u00a0I think it was three hours until Finnur asked to be rescued, at which point everybody got picked up, and we went back to home base.<\/p>\n

There we packed our stuff into the car, and left for our other home base back in Bethesda. \u00a0We stopped in Annapolis<\/a> for dinner and a small stroll, which was lovely. (21 images total)<\/p>\n

While Finnur and Elsa were being fun parents, I wandered around this outlet cluster.<\/p><\/div>\n

Yet again, there was hardly anything to have in XL, never mind XXL. I. Just. Want. Some. Good. Pants!!! I ended up finding decent pants at the Champion store, but the quality is a lot worse than the Nike or Under Armour stuff.<\/p><\/div>\n

Back at our temporary home base, the kids got ice cream, while the adults\u00a0packed and cleaned.<\/p><\/div>\n

About to start crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. I’m not sure how it’s safe to build so close to the water!?<\/p><\/div>\n

Driving back across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge<\/a>. There are two spans that allow boats to pass under, this is one type…<\/p><\/div>\n

… and this is the other type.<\/p><\/div>\n

It was close to dinner time once we got to Annapolis<\/a>, so we decided to stop there and eat. It’s a quaint old town!<\/p><\/div>\n

Random side street. It’s not all picturesque!<\/p><\/div>\n

We ended up at the Iron Rooster<\/a>, which sort of serves breakfast food all day long.<\/p><\/div>\n

My chicken pot pie! \u00a0The kids enjoyed coloring until the food arrived, hence the crayons.<\/p><\/div>\n
