Our hosts took off with their other friends and left us all by ourselves for a couple of days (at which point we drove and met up with them).<\/p>\n

Since the day before had been kind of hectic, we took it easy by visiting a nearby park\/playground<\/a>, eating lunch at a restaurant, napping a bit, and then venturing out again for some shopping. (12 images total)<\/p>\n

Off we go! I learnt that sitting this close to the engine is both loud and smelly! This was pretty much the view the entire ride. It’s a 10-15\u00a0minute ride in the forest, and the most remarkable things you see are a house and the playground.<\/p><\/div>\n

The train was packed though!<\/p><\/div>\n

Playground time! Anna grudgingly agreed to mind Emma, while Bjarki ran off somewhere.<\/p><\/div>\n

Emma only needed a couple of passes with assistance before she could cross this herself.<\/p><\/div>\n

Walking back to the car and the weird talking\/singing pig that talks about recycling, and possibly receives bottles and cans. I tried to stay away, it was a bit freaky!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We'd<\/a>

We’d agreed to buy a chromebook<\/a> for my brother, so to the store we went. The kids didn’t mind one bit!<\/p><\/div>\n
