Monday was a busy day. \u00a0My cousin R\u00edkey and her gang came for a day-long visit, which included american pancakes, and hot tubbing, of course.<\/p>\n

In the evening, we handed the kids over to my brother Bjarni, while we took Finnur’s immediate family out for dinner to celebrate his 40th birthday, two days before he would turn 41 years old. \u00a0Better late than never?! (16 images total)<\/p>\n

Come evening, we made our way to L\u00e6kjarbrekka<\/a> with Finnur’s parents, siblings, and their spouses.<\/p><\/div>\n

We’d been in France when Finnur turned 40 last year<\/a>, so hosting a party somehow never happened. Finally, Finnur’s parents gave us a nudge, so a party was held!<\/p><\/div>\n
