So, May’s essentially come and gone. It was unusually crazy. Here are the highlights:<\/p>\n

Weekend #1 saw our first weekend trip to the summer house at Laugarvatn, where we erected the big trampoline, along with Holla and \u00d3li.<\/p>\n

On 7 May I visited my little nephew for the first time<\/a>, and two days later (weekend #2) I flew to Edmonton, Canada, on a week-long worktrip<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On weekend #3, Finnur and his pals hosted a BBQ<\/a> the same day as I flew back.<\/p>\n

Weekend #4 saw Finnur and the big kids travel to Liverpool, England, to watch an actual English Premier League game(!!!). Finnur’s the coolest dad! Meanwhile, I took Emma with me to stay with the in-laws at their summer house by Laugarvatn<\/a>. It was idyllic! We ended the long weekend by attending the Christening of said New Nephew. His name is Breki Jarl N\u00f6kkvason<\/a>. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

And Weekend #5 will see Finnur fly to California, USA, on his biannual work-trip to the mother-ship, to remind his coworkers of his existence. We’ll probably just lay low.<\/p>\n

In other news, Emma is going diaper-less quite a lot, but it’s more us being trained to ask her constantly if she needs to sit on the toilet, rather than her initiating a potty trip in time. Bjarki’s growing fast these days, and maturing. He’s still a hot-head, but not quite as infantile about it. Anna’s pretty deep into her visit to teenage-dom, and got a new closet to house all her clothes recently. No more chest of drawers!<\/p>\n
