Since we spent the majority of each day in the factory, not a lot of pictures got taken. \u00a0Mostly they’re of food and lodging. \u00a0Oh well… (36 images total)<\/p>\n

Saturday 14 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beautiful day to spend indoors. We showed up pretty early to turn all the machinery on, and then left it to warm up.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, we drove over the river to Nowra to get some breakfast.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sunday 15 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

The leftovers from some happy times some guests had the night before.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Happily,<\/a>

Happily, I woke up early enough to take a short stroll on the beach. This was pretty much the last chance because we were about to check out.<\/p><\/div>\n

Look at all the people there so early in the morning!<\/p><\/div>\n

Goodbye lovely beach! Shower and packing time for me!<\/p><\/div>\n

Later that day we checked into the Parkhaven Motor Lodge<\/a>. We had the three upper rooms pictured.<\/p><\/div>\n

A very standard issue motel room.<\/p><\/div>\n

There was a small balcony out there.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The<\/a>

The bathroom was fine, except for the shower head which sprayed water all over the place.<\/p><\/div>\n

The view to the right. Those trees housed a gazillion birds, who all woke up before seven. \u00a0Loudly. \u00a0The dinner that night was fish and chips!<\/p><\/div>\n

Monday 16 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"On<\/a>

On Monday, we were joined by a couple of local (Sydney) Marel people, a sales-guy and a technician. We ended up getting dinner together at the Nowra Steakhouse, which had fine steaks, but somewhat dodgy decor.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"A<\/a>

A dessert! Yay!<\/p><\/div>\n

Tuesday 17 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Behind<\/a>

Behind our hotel was this nice park, which explained all the birds. \u00a0We walked past it on the way to the mall after work.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"There<\/a>

There was a huge number of these white birds there (cockatoos?), and one morning we were driving by, they filled almost all the power-lines along the street.<\/p><\/div>\n

Thursday 19\u00a0March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"As<\/a>

As we were getting some take-away hamburgers for dinner, one of the servers told us of this place where kangaroos like to hang out. So we drove there! And found kangaroos!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Sadly,<\/a>

Sadly, it was near dusk, so there was almost no light.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Gulli<\/a>

Gulli valiantly attempting to take photos with is phone.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"there<\/a>

There were a lot of eucalyptus trees where we were, just like in California.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"None<\/a>

None of the houses there were really fenced in, so the kangaroos just seemed to be allowed to roam about.<\/p><\/div>\n

Friday 20 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>

The optimized breakfast: Bacon, scrambled eggs, banana bread, and avocado on the side. Sparkling water with, and mocha afterwards. This was proven to last well into the day.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Random<\/a>

Random photos on a wall.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"After<\/a>

After work, we visited a local ‘whole foods-y’ store.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Boxes<\/a>

Boxes of stuff!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Tempting!\"<\/a>

Tempting!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Very,<\/a>

Very, very tempting!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We moved on over to the mall proper, bought more groceries, and rewarded ourselves with some serve-yourself ice cream.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Buying<\/a>

Buying ice cream and topping by weight makes so much sense!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"That<\/a>

That evening we went to a Thai place for dinner, and as we were eating, we remembered there was supposed to be a partial solar eclipse in Iceland. So we went online, and found the live broadcast, which…<\/p><\/div>\n

\"...<\/a>

… died spectacularly as the eclipse reached its maximum. Fail!<\/p><\/div>\n

Saturday 21 March 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"This<\/a>

This is how every day started, with my laptop as the big charging hub for everything else. That white thing was the mobile WiFi, aka our sanity-saver! \u00a0We allowed ourselves an extra hour to sleep in that day before heading to the factory, yet again.<\/p><\/div>\n
