[Drop-by occurred on 02 November 2014, written up on 31 December with fireworks going off all around.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Anna requested yet another trip to the main city library for another dose of manga books. \u00a0Since Emma was with us, and she gets easily bored in the library since she can’t tear All The Books, I decided to visit the next door Reykjavik art museum<\/a> instead. \u00a0Anna followed us there a little while later, and suffered loudly through some art. Moving stuff is cool!<\/p><\/div>\n

Electrical circuits FTW!<\/p><\/div>\n

Much of the show space was blocked off by these wooden walls, creating an enclosed space. We went inside and found…<\/p><\/div>\n

\"...lots<\/a>

…lots of heat images of people\/beings rotating. Yes, we were surrounded by them!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Upstairs<\/a>

Upstairs was a guy who like virus-ish looking things, and lots of different colors<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Another<\/a>

This space contained installations with stung up things, and was a part of the a showing called Synthesis<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"If<\/a>

If I ever find myself with absolutely nothing to do, and lots of space,, I’d like to make one of these tracks.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Cool<\/a>

Cool from a distance. Close up you can see it’s sown together hosiery, and big rocks.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Stung<\/a>

Stung up things. In another box was an actual complex 3D cobweb, but no spider.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Quick<\/a>

Quick peek out the huge back window. \u00a0That’s our car!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Err\u00f3<\/a>

Err\u00f3<\/a> (we’re related to him somehow) has had a show running there for eons<\/a>, but I’ve never managed to find it before. So in we went, even though both Anna and Emma were on their last drops of patience.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"All<\/a>

All library visits must end with a hot chocolate at the I\u00f0a cafe<\/a> across the street. Emma even got one! (We got takeaway cups because it looked like we wouldn’t get seats, but then we did!)<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
