Finnur turned 40 years old and our collective gift to him was not going anywhere for a whole day, except I took the kids on a playground\/bakery\/grocery store walk before lunch. (15 images total)<\/p>\n

These were all fantastic! I sort of regret not buying one every day.<\/p><\/div>\n

The only hiccup to this otherwise calm and relaxing day was Emma going on a breaking spree. She somehow escaped out onto the patio with this glass, and smashed it to pieces. Thankfully the deck was wet so the glass scattered over a smaller area.<\/p><\/div>\n

She also managed to smash this plastic plate on the tile floor in the kitchen. Thankfully the house-owners were understanding of us having a crazy toddler, but to clear our karma we sent them a CD after we returned to Iceland.<\/p><\/div>\n

What? I did something wrong? How’s that possible?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"I<\/a>

I hung out with Emma a bit post-nap.<\/p><\/div>\n

I. Didn’t. Get… Whaaa!<\/p><\/div>\n

I actually cooked dinner for a change, the so called Jamie Oliver chicken. It went down well!<\/p><\/div>\n

Oh, the sweet irony. Emma stuck outside the playpen, wanting to get in.<\/p><\/div>\n
