[Written 18 JULY 2014. \u00a0It was raining earlier.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Bjarki’s waited fairly patiently for his birthday for an ENTIRE YEAR<\/em>. \u00a0 For his patience, he was awarded with two birthday parties, one with his classmates, and the other with family and friends. <\/p>\n

For the first one, we joined forces with the family of another classmate’s of his to host a double birthday-party at one of the local party-haunts (\u00c6vint\u00fdragar\u00f0urinn<\/a>, yes the same as last year<\/a>). \u00a0Co-hosting is the only thing that makes financial sense because there are a whopping twenty boys in the class (and ten girls and two teachers, yes there is a severe girl shortage in the neighborhood). \u00a0Surprisingly, almost all the boys made it to the party, even though it’s the middle of summer, and people traveling here and there. Most of these boys had just finished the three-day long football meet, so a good portion of the guests played football in one corner.<\/p><\/div>\n

For some reason, the big slide was the main attraction for most of the non-football boys this time around.<\/p><\/div>\n
