It took a week, but finally Ms. Bambino had been declared infection free, and I’d been loaded up with enough blood pressure medication to finally beat it into submission – and we were declared fit to go home. Here are pictures from the day.
Nothing new to report, except that now that we’re no longer disappearing from our unlockable room to go to the NICU, I asked Finnur to bring my laptop and the big camera back to the hospital. Oh, how nice it is to type on a proper keyboard and not the itty bitty phone! So hereRead more
Sooooo… Ms. Bambino has been discharged, and is free to go, but I am not. Sadly, my blood pressure keeps spiking very high, so now the docs are trying a third drug to try and lower it. Suspected dehydration, getting a little extra milk, but will be kept under observation. Has a bit of a fever, but blood work looks ok for now.Read more
Hrefna noticed a bit labored breathing and increased irritation in ourn little girl so after measuring a slight fever the doctors decided to put her under observation at the NICU, suspecting a slight infection. I’m sitting in a layzyboy chair next to my daughter who’s being worked on by a nurse through holes in theRead more
