A bloody nose!
Two noteworthy events happened today: 1) While excitedly playing in the living room, Anna banged her face on the coffee table (stofuborð) and got her first bloody nose! Fortunately it didn’t last long and after she’d gotten a great big hug from me and all her animals/teddy bears she was good as new. She’s also developed a long big faint bruise on her cheek from last Saturday, when she banged her face against another table. Oh, the dangers of walking!

2) I sold my “new” camera today to a random stranger through an on-line mailing list. I got a fair prize for it, and now we can go ahead and upgrade to the Canon 350D, which has a faster start-up than the 300D, and shoots faster – both very important when taking pictures of children. The other camera was real nice, and I was sad to part ways with it, but since I am a “female photographer, with child” I fit right into the 350D trap. Kazoom! Kazap! 🙂

If all goes well, the new “new” camera should arrive shortly after we do… 🙂
