People to see, taxes to file
We had glorious lunch at Eyrún’s (Finnur’s oldest sister) along with Finnur’s parents and his other siblings. After Anna woke up from her nap, we drove over the hill to my grandmother’s and Hulda’s, where we had some more food and a nice chat. Then we drove on to my mother’s, where Anna took her second nap while we feasted on some lamb and curry (no, not indian curry, the western kind).

After dinner I then attacked the tax returns of my mother and my brothers – which by now are thankfully mostly all prefilled in. We had them all submitted before 10pm so that was good. Now I only have to finish the Icelandic tax return for me and Finnur (joint) and then four glorious tax returns wait for my arrival in the gloriously split USA (2 x Federal tax returns, and 2 x State tax returns). Oh, the joy!
