Teeth!
On 8 August, four days short of being 6 months old, Emma Ósk got her first tooth, the lower right front one. Coincidentally, it was the same day I finally made the trek to the National Registry with a signed piece of paper officially giving her her name.
It took ten days for the next tooth to arrive, giving her two lower front teeth:
Then this past Thursday the third tooth broke through, this time the upper right next-to-the-front-teeth one. Aaaand I think we can claim that its twin broke through today, upping the total number to four:
We had a pretty quiet day today. Anna seems to not have had strep because she was basically fever-free today, and will be going to school tomorrow (unless something happens tonight). We still kept her indoors, much to her consternation.
My cousin Ríkey dropped in with her two kids to while away the afternoon with us, and we made some waffles, and overdosed on carbohydrates in general. The kids played nicely and Emma was mostly in fine spirits in spite of all the teeth. I just hope she sleeps ok!
And now for the first whole week of school!
