Quiet Monday

The Monday of Week Two of this year’s Summer Vacation was a quiet one.  In the morning we drove Bjarki to the horse riding school, because we’d gotten permission to sign him up for their last week of operation this summer, even though he’s a year under their usual starting age.  Anna insisted on coming too to say hi to the kittens, and in the end she got to stay the morning, and even got to ride a horse!

All in all it was a quiet day, and we have this picture of Emma to show for it:

I did manage to drag Anna to the Cintamani outlet/sale because she lost her fantastic fleece at Húsafell (boo!) and she’d outgrown all her other ones.  We ended up buying a light jacket for 5000 isk (reduced from 18000 isk) , and a somewhat pricey fleece jacket (on sale though, and I felt ok about it because of the ‘cheap’ jacket).  I contemplated buying her these pants:

… but they were too pricey, even on sale, especially since she has lots of pants still.
