We got up late this morning (all except Bjarki, there was no school for Anna) and exited to find not a lot of sand on our car at all.  Sure, there was a thin sandy film on it when you stroked the car with a finger, but it wasn’t too bad.  Then it was into work, working, and then home.  For dinner we were joined by Logi, Tassanee and Arina who were ‘stranded’ in Iceland due to the volcano.  They came to Iceland from Canada on Saturday to attend a wedding next weekend.  Their plan was to fly to Finland for three day visit this week, but the volcanic eruption erased those plans.  So instead, they get a hopefully restful vacation in Iceland. 🙂
