Sunday was here
Anna came down with a fever late Thursday, so no school for her on Friday. On Saturday she only had a low grade fever (37.5°C/99.6°F), so we ok-ed a previously planned playdate with a classmate of hers for Sunday. Of course her fever returned on the Sunday, so we called and said we were ok with the friend coming over, if her parents were. They figured the bug was going around the class anyway, so Anna got a playmate for a couple of hours – which made all of our lives easier.
Bjarki meanwhile decided he’d like to paint, and as he was performing his art, I realized that this was probably only the second or third time that I’ve brought out paint for him to play with. When Anna was little, painting happened quite often (and I have – pictures – to – prove – it) but for some reason (gender discrimination?) painting just hasn’t been much of a ‘topic’. Which is bad and sad and we should do something about that.
Anyway, here are pictures to prove that Bjarki did get to paint, and that Anna did get a visitor.

Once Anna's friend was gone, Anna and Bjarki decided to play dress-up. As it happens, we don't have _any_ 'masculine' dress-up-gear so Bjarki ended up in a dress, which he seemed to quite enjoy, because, let's face it: That is one awesome dress! 🙂 Here they are twirling for the camera...
