Snow Day

The weather has been snowy lately. I think it’s kinda fantastic because I’ve missed winter, and ‘snow’ makes a much more fun winter than just ‘freezing cold’. Today was a particularly pretty day, and we probably should have braved the ski-slopes, but instead we made do with a couple of playgrounds in our ‘backyard’ before heading out to the seaside. Then we were joined by Steinunn, Einar and Þórarinn Víkingur for dinner. A good day all in all! 🙂

No, not quite. Seltjarnarnes begins a km or so to the west. This is Ægissíða, looking over to Álftanes.

I see. I recall seeing Bessastaðir from Seltjarnarnes as well. By the way, I knocked on the President’s door last June but didn’t get any response. I guess nobody was home. In any other country I would have gotten shot long before I got to the house 🙂
