Freeeeeezing

It looks like winter is finally here, at least if the weather is any indication (um… what?), which means it was time for some spring cleaning around the apartment…  (wait, what?). In our world that basically means taking turns, one person tidies up and the other restrains the kids from making a mess (left hand holds (clamps?) Bjarki’s hands and the right holds Anna’s hands) :). Afterwards, Hrefna had some work to attend to and I took the kids for a playground-crawl for an hour and a half (sidenote: why does pub-crawl work as a word and not playground-crawl?). Anyway, I digress.

The afternoon was spent with a couple of my siblings eating waffles at my parent’s place, with my kids mesmerized by a tree chopping  job my dad and my brother-in-law-to-be-someday-maybe were performing in the backyard (after stuffing themselves full of waffles, of course). 🙂
