Gay Pride
Today was a busy busy day, so busy that it will need three, count them, THREE blogposts. The events of the day were 1) dropping Bjarki off at my mom’s while we went to 2) a Christening downtown, before 3) returning to my mom’s to pick Bjarki up. While we were there we 4) took pictures of Bryndís who was going to today’s Gay Pride parade and then 5) dropped her off at the parade gathering point. We then 6) returned to home base for the Christening party where much merriment was had by all, as well as the best seafood soup ever and yummy cakes. When the party wound down, we 7) rested for a bit before 8) going to Halli and Adda’s for dinner with Holla and Óli. The day ended at home base where we 9) spent the last remnants of the day hanging out with Steinunn and Einar, watching random tv-stuff. Now it’s 00:45 and the sky is pitch black outside and it’s pouring rain. Goodbye Summer Sun!
