Bjarki Turns 12 Years Old, Anna Bakes & Emma Plays

Lo and behold, somehow it was Bjarki’s 12th birthday!! He opened presents in the morning, and then Anna had very kindly baked a cake for him to take to horse camp.

The following weekend was calm-ish, with Anna going all out making macaroons from scratch, and myself and Emma visiting the farm-animal-and-family-park yet again. (20-ish images)

I’ve sort of copied the kids’ computer time on Saturday and Sunday mornings, except my computer time happens far away from anybody that might shout “mom” my way. There is a cafe lurking on the left there.

Meanwhile, at home, Anna was busy making pistachio macaroons!!!

Wanting to do ‘something’ Emma and I again ended up at the farm animal and family park in the later afternoon.
The park was super busy all summer, as the weather kept being rather great.
At long last the pond had been filled with water, and the pull-floater was back in action! We hung out in the sandpit for a bit, but then ominous clouds appeared so we didn’t stay long.
