Hildur Sif’s Confirmation Party

After a photography lull (what a long long winter!), I decided to bring my gear to Hildur’s confirmation party.  Anna and Halli had managed to reserve a really nice gathering hall through Halli’s worker’s association, which made everything easier.

I took about a gazillion photos that day, and some 300 were deemed ‘ok’. Here are some of them! (55 images total)

Guests began arriving, with the all important presents. Like one friend puts it, this is literally a wealth transfer between generations kind of a thing.

Then mother and daughter played some music together.  I took a video of this (I think) and later realized I didn’t have very good photos of the performance…
Very soon it was time for dessert.
