The latter part of the week that Finnur spent in jolly old England was about as busy as the first half.  I went on a team-building ride with my team-mates from work, went on a nice walk, we attended a birthday party, ate dinner with friends, visited the library downtown, and planted some leeks, among other things!  (45-ish images total)

Yours truly, out in the wilderness (sort of) on a team-building day with my group at work.
The day started a lot more innocently, with Emma getting her hair braided.  It was all the rage for a few days, and then it got old.
After lunch, the bus carrying Anna back from her 5-day long school-trip to Laugar returned.
She was tired but happy.
By 5 pm, my colleagues and I had driven to the edge of town to go on a buggy ride.
Selfie before departure.  I was the drive in my buggy for the first half of the trip, so I was in no position to take photos!

My buggy was the last in line.  Yes, everyone was busy tucking their phones away!
It was a tricky juggling act to decide when to take photos, when to shield the phone from water, and when to hang on for dear life!

We got so lucky with the weather!

Soon we had returned to base, with appropriately dirty buggies.

After this we drove to the other end of town go visit a micro brewery and eat good food!

The main course was a juicy hamburger, but dessert was ice cream with caramelized popcorn!!
The weather kept being super nice, so I ended up taking a bus home-wards, and walking the last little bit home.

I decided to walk to work on this chilly spring morning to reclaim the car I’d left the the day before.

Next stop was picking Emma up from her grandparents’ place, and taking her garden-stuff-shopping.

A hop and a skip later we attended a birthday party!

To top off a busy day, we went to Adda and Halli’s for dinner! Here is Emma in a jacket that fit her oddly well, considering it’s for 12 year olds!

Finnur sent us a snap that morning, as he was about to start his trip home.
The daily hair-style.
I was annoyed that the kiddie corner in this store is right where you exit, which just meant I needed to wait for her highness to be done before exiting.
We looked at dryers, since our dryer had died a few days prior.
Still not too big for the library window!
Obligatory cafe stop.
Next we planted some leeks, but only one ever amounted to anything, and it grew so much the wind blew it over and it died. Boohoo!
