Finnur’s 43rd Birthday!

Finnur turned 43 years old some eons ago. He got presents, and was somehow convinced to walk to the top of a nearby tall hill/borderline mountain, called Úlfarsfell. (26 images total)
Finnur gets some presents and some bakery cakes.
This year’s gift theme was BBQing.
We drove to the bottom of Úlfarsfell, and started hiking up. On the way there we passed some newlyweds which were being photographed in the pretty forest.
Up a little ways already. As expected, Anna and Bjarki left the rest of us in the dust.
I think this area belongs to a tree-growing organization.
That’s the end of the trees!

It was really windy up on the top, and Bjarki was not too please about being cold all of a sudden.

As soon as we got down far enough to lose the wind, it felt really warm again.

As it was dinner o’clock, we stopped by a restaurant on the way home to get dinner.

We notified the staff that it was Finnur’s birthday, so he got a balloon, and a free dessert.
