Day #10 in St. Brieuc – Shopping & Indoor Playground on a Rainy Day

For our last full day in France, we’d planned to revisit the tree-climbing park due to great demand. Unfortunately, the weather disagreed with our plan with a thunderstorm and rain.

We ended up splitting up, with me and Anna going on a shopping trip downtown, while Finnur took the younger kids to an indoor playground. We then had dinner with Holla and Óli’s gang, who would be staying for a few days longer. (18 images total)
Finnur dropped Anna and myself off by the train station, as there was a massive traffic jam going into downtown. He then drove off to the outskirt of town to visit an indoor playground.
We walked past the main shopping mall, and into the actual downtown.
We visited the comic book store we’d seen on Sunday, and they had manga figures. Oh, so many thrusty statues!
The bakery we’d tried to visit the previous Sunday was now open… tempting!
Too tempting actually, because we went inside!

Meanwhile, Finnur hung out with the little kiddos, in an indoors jungle gym.
Not quite as charming as a tree climbing park, but fun was apparently had!

Post dinner, it was time to say goodbye, with macaroons, of course!
