Short Worktrip to Canada
[Photos from 17-21 September 2016, posted online 27 November 2016. Winter’s gone into hiding again.]
My first work-trip post ankle-breakage was to the Edmonton area in Canada. It was my third time going there, so I knew what to expect.
Imagine my surprise then when I hauled my behind outside for a walk/slow-jog around a nearby unexplored neighborhood, which went from cookie-cutter houses to a lovely pond, and then a wooden trail! I’ll have to continue exploring next time I go there! (32 images total)

Saddest cup of oatmeal I’ve ever gotten on an Icelandair flight. I opened the cup, found it to be barely half-full, showed the flight attendant, who sort of shrugged, and went on serving the other guests. Boohoo.

Just to annoy Finnur. I didn’t really indulge in too much alcohol while I was there, as I’ve learnt the hard way it seriously messes with my sleep.

We always need to go buy _something_ at the local stores. This guy, standing all lonely looking at Home Depot, had me missing our old identical fridge from California. Sniffles!

Jetlag caught up with me, and I drank hot water with dinner that night, and still sat there shivering.

Probably a part of the older generation of houses. The town of Spruce Grove has grown a lot in a very short time.
