Visiting Laugarvatn, Slakki Petting Zoo, and Thingvellir

It was “our week” at the summer house Finnur owns with his siblings, so to the summer house by Laugarvatn we went! With us were Adda and Halli, plus kids, and a lovely time was had by all (we hope). We visited a small petting zoo for the first time, there was more jogging, and on the way back, we stopped at various places to hunt Pokemons. (23 images total)

Back to the beginning… Stocking up on drinks and cookies/crackers/biscuits for the drive to the summer house. Those are doled out every 15 minutes if the kids behave themselves.

I went out for a jog, again, and explored the roads around the summer house. A river runs through the area.

We visited the petting zoo at Slakki in the afternoon. We’d never been there, so it was nice to finally make it.

There are a few greenhouses close by where veggies are grown. We found a self-serve store inside this mini-greenhouse, and bought a few things.

The way back was littered with Pokemon stops. Here Anna and Finnur are outside the Junior College at Laugarvatn (which is a hotel in the summertime).
