Finnur’s Flying to California

Today, Finnur took off on his twice-yearly work-trip to the mother-ship in Mountain View (Gaaah, don’t look at the pictures, doooon’t!  Ack, too late.  Now I want to go too!) He’s on the plane to Seattle as I’m typing this.

He’ll only be gone for 12 days this time around, instead of a full two weeks, and then some, because I need my sanity, and because the flight prices/schedules lined up that way. Thankfully, school is winding down, so we should all survive.  Knock on wood!

Bjarki was staying at a friend’s place, so I took Anna and Emma to the mall to buy new pants for Anna.
She’s recently stopped wearing her usual sports pants, and switched to regular pants, but was down to one pair.
At the mall, Emma fell in love with this princess carriage, and would happily have spent two hours in there!

Me and the kiddos arrived home really late, so I grabbed the fastest thing to thaw out of the freezer. Then I went outside and discovered our backyard was very windy!! The bacon did eventually cook, but it took its sweet time!

(That almost never happens!)  The bacon did eventually cook, but it took its sweet time! (Also, one burner out of four refused to start. Boo!)
